“One can know the past and understand the ramifications of the present.
One can expect the future and devise or expose its impediments.

It suffices to say that one can live to discover the morrow.”

I’m a CEO.

Not the ordinary 3000 people company CEO. Nope, I’m the CEO of a small internet startup. But I’m proud of this abbreviation. You can make it say a lot of different things as an acronym such as Clown Enforcing Obtuseness. Don’t hesitate to share if you know some good ones.

Not only am I the CEO of a small startup, it’s a BELGIAN startup!
Yeah! I’ve heard it before, Belgium and startup? They don’t mix really well.
Though I must admit there are a few success stories.

Anyway, coming back to me (as this is the focus of the about page), I’m something of a 30+ entrepreneur that wants to change stuff – well, a lot of stuff actually. Stuff regroups many different possible substances and layers and as such can be difficult to fathom. That’s the life of a CEO, a lot to understand, but most of it has just little value.

Being busy with a lot of stuff gives me headaches; you know the ones you have when you need to take a decision, or those you get after you decided. To keep this story short, I’ve been suggested to take my frustrations out. Expel them, but in a constructive way – whatever this may mean. I’ve been told a good way would be to start a blog; “a lot of CEO’s have their own blog.”, or so they told me.

So here I am writing this blog about a CEO of a small Belgian startup. Don’t expect much of it, but be wary, headaches can give insightful information.

Aiskhron Kerdos which is translated as Shameful Gain is semantically associated with cleverness, trickery and lying. Though Kerdos is mainly used for material wealth (which is good for a CEO) one knows today that knowledge and information have much influence on our decisions. What if information could be considered as the gain itself, fuelling more knowledge? (in addition to the excepted collateral headaches). Well, that ’s what we’ll try to figure out.

Don’t hesitate to leave your comments. This is be part of my therapy.

Aiskhron Kerdos is my personal blog, and the posts here are solely my responsibility, and in no way reflective of the opinions of ZackBrandit.

Cheers,
Laurent Rozenfeld.
